Hollis French begins tour of southeast Alaska

Press Release from French for Governor: Senator Hollis French begins a four day tour of Southeast Alaska this morning. He will be in Haines attending the Southeast Conference today, Tuesday September 15, and on Wednesday Sept. 16 will tour the Kasidaya Creek Hydro Project in the morning and then will participate in a public hearing at the Haines High School gym in the afternoon.

On Thursday, September 17, French will spend the day in Sitka on a traditional campaign stop to meet local voters and discuss issues of concern to that community. French will travel to Ketchikan on Friday, September 18 for another day of campaigning there.

“Southeast Alaska is limitless in its possibilities,” said French. “During the six years I’ve served in the Legislature I’ve had the opportunity to get acquainted with Juneau and its surroundings. During this trip I’m looking forward to listening and learning more about the challenges faced by other parts of the region.”
